About Michael

Three years ago, my daughters gave me a paint set for Christmas, sparking my creative journey. Having lived in Lancaster County my whole life, I was first inspired by the farmland and beauty I passed on country drives. Those landscapes became my earliest subjects.

With no formal background in art, I’ve been surprised that painting has become one of the great joys of the last few years of my life. I still paint farms and the beauty of Lancaster County, but my work has expanded to include places I’ve traveled, moments that catch my eye, and subjects that challenge me creatively. My wife and two daughters have been tremendously supportive of my work, and their encouragement continues to inspire my artistic exploration.
